Dental Insurance
Do you have dental insurance?
Unfortunately, it is impossible for us to obtain any information about your dental insurance, because it is confidential. It is therefore recommended that you check with your insurer in advance to find out your coverage and the annual amount allocated so as to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
For your convenience, our staff will be pleased to offer you the dental insurance claims online. If we receive an answer from your insurer while you are at the clinic, you will only have to pay the amount not reimbursed by the insurer. However, if we do not receive any response, you will be responsible for the full cost of your visit. Your insurer will then send you the refund personally, either by cheque or direct deposit, according to the agreement established with them.
For children under the age of 10 years, the Régie d’assurance maladie du Québec (RAMQ) provides full coverage for some dental care services. For more information, please contact the RAMQ or one of our professionals.

Oral hygiene in children
What you need to know
Did you know that oral hygiene should begin at birth? Until the first tooth appears, it is important to gently massage baby’s gums after each feeding with a clean, damp towel. When the first tooth appears, usually around six months of age, it is time to start dental hygiene with a soft-bristled toothbrush and a small amount of toothpaste (the size of a grain of rice is recommended). You can choose the type of toothbrush you like as long as the recommended age on the brush matches your child’s age.
The first visit to the dentist for dental cleaning of your child’s teeth is around the age of 3 years. However, our professionals will be happy to examine your child’s teeth, regardless of their age, if you feel the need.
